Miracle Morning – What Do You Do When No One Else Is in the Room

The truest test of the benefit of the miracle morning is what it enables you to do when no one else is in the room.

Miracle mornings are sometimes about the things you do when no one else is in the room.

****Go to the *** below for a description of the Miracle Morning Routine.

One thing entrepreneurs experience often when they do a miracle morning practice is being alone in an empty room. After all, the day starts in an empty room. Big things happen in empty rooms. Planning, dreaming, and preparing often happen in empty rooms. Empty rooms are testers.

For many entrepreneurs, crowded rooms are easy and comfortable. In crowded rooms, entrepreneurs network. They give presentations. Business relationships are created or cemented. Crowded rooms demand action. There is no place to hide and there are eyes everywhere monitoring action. Entrepreneurs know that crowded rooms mean showtime and they show up to perform.

Empty rooms are a different story. They are quiet and private. When the room is empty there is a temptation to lay your head down and rest. Empty rooms are a test. They ask the question, “what do you do when no one else is in the room?” In an empty room, you discover what is in your makeup.

Empty rooms are where an entrepreneur discovers she has what it takes to succeed or she doesn’t. The true test of an entrepreneur is whether or not she can go into an empty room and fill it. Can she fill it with her big ideas, plans, and actions? When she leaves the empty room, has she made the room her own? That is the big question. When faced with the empty room does she lay her head down on the table? Or does she rise to the challenge and leave that room with optimism and confidence?

For an entrepreneur, an empty room is one heck of a tester.

This thrilling day, the question is, are you how do you handle the empty room?

*** What the Miracle Morning means in my world.***

Recently, I decided to start a Miracle Morning routine. For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, it involves getting up a little earlier in the day. The day starts with you doing SAVERS. To translate that into English, it means:

Silence
Affirmation
Visualization
Exercise
Read
Scribe

In my world, I start with spirituality – I read my Bible and pray. Next, I read or write affirmations. I do a lot of work dealing with creating confidence so I read my creating confidence affirmations or spend time creating 1 or 2 more. For visualization, I spend time picturing what will make the day successful. Exercise involves me taking a 20-minute walk around the neighborhood. After my walk, I read. I created a reading list for the mornings. This is a list of books, I want to read for pleasure, for enrichment, or because I need to read them. Finally, it is time to scribe or write. I have decided to turn the things I think about on my walks into blog articles for my scribe activity.

Stay tuned for our next installment in the Miracle Morning series.
