Many apps are free or low-cost so that you can try out a few and then go with the one that works best for you. It is true that getting healthy and healthy requires smart, hard work. However, with modern technology, getting healthy and in good shape is literally inside the palm of your hands. Go check out the apps and devices available and have some fun.

These parts are just as important as our physical parts. Whole and healthy human beings have all of these parts. So often we ignore all these parts of ourselves and concentrate on just one or maybe two of the areas. As human beings, we need to take a new look at being healthy and work on being healthy in all parts of our lives. We all know people who are out of balance mentally or emotionally or sexually. When any area of our lives is out of balance and we do not take the necessary steps to get back into balance there are serious problems. Think about it, what good is it to have washboard abs and buns of steel if you are mentally unstable, suffering from depression or spiritually in need of renewal.

It is thrilling to use the technology in our hands to help us live healthier and more physically fit lives. The word healthy is commonly defined as being in good health, of being free of disease. Increasingly technology,which interestingly is our friend has helped us to be stationary and as a result increasingly out of shape. Recently, women in a bloggers group to which I belong complained about “blogger butt,” a condition that results from sitting at the computer and writing for extended periods. In sum, blogger butt is the increase in weight that happens when you stop being active and start using your technology for long periods. This phenomenon seemed to be common with women across race, class and age. In other words, it happens to everyone. Even with this new and increasingly common affliction, I think technology is still our friend and can be used for good health.

You can find serenity in knowing that a little healthy competition between spouses can be a fun, good and beneficial thing. My husband and I were HOT when we got married. I am talking smoking hot. Over the course of the past 23 years, we have both gained weight. We need to get rid of that weight. There are many reasons why we have not done it before now. I know for me, when I was 19, my husband told me women did not become beautiful until they turned 30. Later as I aged, he continued to tell me that I was beautiful. I did not realize that even though I was gorgeous, I was also overweight. I kept seeing myself through his loving eyes where I was still a young hottie.
