I like being a blogger, a writer, a consultant, a person who earns a living using words and sharing ideas. I work at home and do not have employees. However, I am a community member and work very hard to build communities with women around the world. Like many women who work at home, I start my work day with a cup of hot coffee with lots of creamer. It is a common occurrence, all over the world, people bond over a hot cup of coffee. There is something wonderful about sipping and slurping a hot beverage with a delicious creamer. My children laugh at me and all the various creamers I have in my fridge to go with my morning coffee. Recently I had a chance as part of Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community to try out the new Nestle Coffeemate Pumpkin Spice creamer.
There is something warm and satisfying about sitting down with a cup of hot coffee. Here is what my coffee looks like in my favorite coffee cup. I know the cup is chipped, but it is comfy like old slippers.
Pumpkin is a new flavor and a seasonal one, I had never tried it before. But, I do like my job as a blogger and member of Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community, so I decided to give this new (to me) pumpkin flavored coffee creamer a try.
I also tried a new coffee -Taster’s Choice House Blend instant coffee.
I am part of several online communities which are very important to me. I depend on the women I speak with online for support, encouragement and their friendship. I start my day with coffee and conversation with my community members just like people who go to a traditional office place start their days with coffee in the employee kitchen or break room. Often when we do our Google+ hangouts or Skype calls each morning, you hear the click clack of computer keys and soft slurps as we drink our coffee.
The photo just above shows you what a typical morning is like for me once I get the kids off to school. I get out my tablet, my books on editing (to help with my writing) a hot cup of coffee and sit on the front steps to start my own brand of community service. I have a community with my friends Pam of An Unconventional Librarian and Rachee Fagg of Say It Rah-Shay. We created an accountability circle to help us reach our goals. I cannot count how many times we have said we are not thinking clearly because we have not had our morning coffee. I have another community created with my friends Brandi Riley and Arelis Cintron called Pushing Lovely where we help women writers reach their goals. In the Pushing Lovely community we often do Google+ Hangouts to teach each other a variety of skills related to business and blogging. Even though most of those hangouts take place in the evening, I still slurp my coffee and creamer.
As I said, I tried the Nestle Coffeemate Pumpkin Spice creamer. It was quite tasty. The pumpkin flavor made me think of fall and the leaves that will soon be falling outside in my real world community.
I am glad that instead of sticking with my old favorite creamers that are in my fridge, I tried the Nestle Coffeemate Pumpkin Spice creamer. It is a seasonal variety so it is a special treat. I am glad I had the opportunity to taste and enjoy it during my recent community online community meetings.
As a final note, I wanted those of you in my blogging community to know that there is another Nestle Coffeemate creamer out this season to try – Peppermint Mocha! Mmmm, doesn’t that sound delicious? Perhaps the kind folks at Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community will give me an assignment to try that one as well.
Tomorrow, no matter what type of community you are part of, if you want to have a warm and wonderful feeling all over while bonding with your friends whether in the real world or online, get a cup of coffee and try it with one of these great tasting Nestle Coffeemate creamers. So, the question for you this magnificent day is, what is your favorite Coffeemate coffee creamer?
