- Hone or Develop Skills – the internet is a treasure trove of resources one can use to improve one’s work skills
- Get Educated – there are numerous websites one can use in order improve one’s education via the internet
- Self Improvement – if there is an area of you life that could stand improvement hit the internet to find a useful video or book
When you are out of work you have more of a precious resource – time. Use that time to make improvements in your life. If you have been trying to get in shape, get on the internet get some advice, check out some videos and join some support groups. If you lost your job because you have a bad attitude, get on the internet and learn how to get a better one. If you do not have the skills you need to do the job you want, get on the internet and get some new skills. Instead of looking at your time away from the work place as a curse, take the silver lining approach. Look at your time away from work as an opportunity to get on the internet and do those things you have been planning to do . Instead of just talking about it, take action now and do it!

I am trying to make a few dollars or save by using coupons or freebies. I need to be productive while I am on internet
Absolutely great idea! Moping just promotes bad feelings at least you will feel productive and that is key.
I also think it’s important to maybe find a new hobby or passion when you’re unemployed and searching the internet. I’ve seen so many stories where someone’s unemployment has bought them to the hobby that eventually turned into a successful business.
It might be nice to get to be lazy for a little while!
